The water lily has the ability to grow in murky waters and rise from these waters into a beautiful pink and white flower. In the same way, God works within us to transform our murky hearts into ones that long to serve Him.

Dorcas Hawkins enjoys painting and handcrafts of all sorts. She is married to Allen and has two adult children. When not painting, Dorcas loves cooking, reading, and being with her friends and family. Retiring to the mountains is a dream come true for her and going on walks with her dog Roger is just icing on the cake.
