The monarch butterfly is definitely a beauty to behold among the many creatures our awesome God has fashioned! But are you aware of the treacherous 2,000 mile journey this tiny being completes as she migrates from Canada to Mexico? And where can she find warmth during the colder months?
“Through many dangers, toils, and snares…” including predators and fierce storms, our Heavenly Father’s unique plan allows for many of these lovely insects to survive the unthinkable. The journey of the monarch is so reflective of how we as humans sometimes face impossible circumstances in our story of survival through this earthly life. We dodge the storms. We face brutal enemies. We experience hurtful situations. It is all under His protection and within His unique plan for our lives and our walk with Him. And one day, when we meet Him face to face, we will behold the beauty of His eternal plan as we worship Him forever.
About the Musician
Christi Stills embarked on her journey of “composing” music at a young age. Being an only child in a quiet home opened many doors for imagination and creativity. After years of learning through opportunities mostly in church settings/music ministry, she discovered that others were interested in listening to her hymn arrangements. She recorded a couple of CD’s, and transcribed the arrangements onto sheet music – which can be found at sheetmusicplus.com. Currently, her recordings can be heard on Spotify, Apple Music, and other major streaming platforms. In other windows of her schedule, Christi enjoys drinking coffee, reading, hiking, tutoring kids who learn “outside-the-box,” and continues to create new tunes upon every opportunity that arises.
