This song is about resting in God, whose understanding is infinite.

He sees it all: our sins, our failures, our idiosyncrasies, the hurts and complexities of our lives. He sees it all, and He loves us anyway. He accepts us when others cannot accept us. He invites us to confess our sins so that we can be forgiven and healed. He invites us to cast our cares upon Him so that we can experience peace. 

He invites us to share our joys with Him in thanksgiving and praise.
